NEW CLASSIC LA by Paul Muller

On Saturday, November 12, 2016 Music and Conversationspresented the Lyris Quartet in a concert of music ranging from Bach and Mozart to Shostakovich, along with new contemporary works by Jane Brockman and Billy Childs. The Jack Rutberg Fine Arts Gallery on La Brea was the venue and an overflow crowd filled every available seat for the occasion...

"Time for some art and music...my next destination was Jack Rutberg Fine Arts, where New York oboist Keve Wilson headlined an Evening of Music & Art with the the Lyris Quartet. The music was divine, and the players were excellent. What a lovely stop on my art party hop!A beautiful setting, Jack Rutberg Fine Arts exhibited works by established artists... Delicious wine was provided by Casa Torelli Imports/Deluca Trattoria."
